T&R Test Equipment Ltd. at Faraday Power Meeting

T&R Test Equipment Ltd. Joins The Inaugural Faraday Power Group Meeting

T&R Test Equipment Ltd. is proud to have attended the inaugural Faraday Power Group Meeting, a new regional initiative bringing together organisations from across the power, utilities, engineering, and renewable energy sectors. The event, hosted at The Faraday Centre in Redcar & Cleveland, aims to strengthen collaboration, enhance technical knowledge, and support the continued development of high-voltage safety and training standards across the industry.

Our Sales & Commercial Director, Gary Biggs, and Lead Design Engineer, Daniel-Tiberiu Maxim, represented the company at the event, providing attendees with insight into our range of high-voltage testing solutions and discussing how our equipment supports safer and more efficient operations in the field.

Supporting the Industry Through Knowledge and Innovation

The Faraday Power Group Meeting offered an ideal platform to engage with professionals from across the UK and internationally. Throughout the day, Gary and Daniel met with visitors, answered technical questions, and discussed the practical challenges engineers face during commissioning, maintenance, and protection testing.

Key discussion topics included:

  • The role of primary and secondary injection in modern protection testing

  • The importance of portability and accuracy in field applications

  • How T&R equipment enhances safety and reliability for end users

  • The value of hands-on training and ongoing technical support

As always, the focus was on helping engineers select the right tools for their operations and equipping them with the knowledge to use them confidently.

A Strong Start for a Promising Industry Initiative

The inaugural meeting highlighted the growing importance of collaboration between training providers, manufacturers, suppliers, utilities, and engineering firms. With organisations attending from a wide range of sectors — including renewables, offshore, manufacturing, rail, and electrical contracting — the event provided a unique opportunity to build new relationships and share expertise across disciplines.

T&R Test Equipment Ltd. is pleased to support initiatives that promote safer working practices, stronger technical competence, and long-term sector development.
