T&R Test Equipment Strengthens Partnerships in Hong Kong

As part of a broader tour across South East Asia, T&R Test Equipment Ltd. recently visited Hong Kong, continuing to build strong international partnerships through technical training and product presentations. The visit, led by Gary Biggs, Sales & Commercial Director, included meetings with two of our regional distributors — China Scientific (HK) Ltd. and C&K Instruments (HK) Ltd.

Hands-On Technical Training with China Scientific (HK) Ltd.

The trip featured a detailed technical training session with China Scientific (HK) Ltd., focused on the 50ADM-P Secondary Current Injection Test Set — one of T&R’s most portable and versatile instruments.

Weighing only 13.2 kg, the 50ADM-P delivers high-precision current injection testing up to 50 A, making it ideal for engineers working in the field. The training allowed attendees to explore the instrument’s advanced timing features, safety mechanisms, and digital metering, demonstrating how it simplifies relay testing and protection verification.

To give local engineers hands-on experience, China Scientific is currently offering a two-month trial programme for the 50ADM-P, allowing end users in Hong Kong to experience its performance first-hand.

T&R Test Equipment Ltd. also met with C&K Instruments (HK) Ltd., where Gary Biggs hosted a product presentation covering the company’s range of primary and secondary current injection systems, high-voltage detectors, and live-line testers.

The session provided an opportunity to exchange technical insights and reinforce how T&R products continue to meet the demanding requirements of the electrical testing and commissioning industry across Asia.
